Sean Currey - Closet Comic...
Well folks, it happened. I finally got la....oh wait...not THAT. That happened years ago (when I was 15 actually).
I finally, at my wife's urging, started my stand up comedy career. Well, its not really a career. A 6 week workshop and two open mics does not make a career. But it's a start. Most importantly, I killed both times ("killed" is show comic-speak for "did really well"). I cant wait to do more and most likely will be hitting the Funnybone in Pittsburgh every two weeks on Tuesday. I just went on last night so the next time I can go on will be in 13 days.
It's funny how everything good in my life starts with my wife. My current profession is because of her (not many wives would allow their husbands to be Giggolo's). And now she has encouraged me to do stand up. God I love her.
At this point, I dont really care where it goes, I just dont want it to stop. That is the great thing about comedy....even if I cant find a place to perform I can still do comedy. Every conversation is a chance to either get material or give material.
Wow, that was deep. I have real work to do. Check you
homosapiens later.
